Malaysia

Malacca & Kuala Lumpur

Malaysia has a long colonial history, having been "ruled" by the British, Portuguese and Dutch. The city of Malacca bears architectural remembrance to those decades of foreign influence. Now an economically thriving independent country, Malaysia bears witness to it's rich diversity. Its not unusual to see a Hindu temple next to a Buddhist temple next to a Muslim mosque next to a Christian church. Malaysia's capital, Kuala Lumpur, mixes old with new in an ever-vibrant,  eclectic cultural potpourri.
